We have solved that issue with our full-tang and handle-slab construction. Yes there are fighting knives for a very few highly trained blade enthusiasts, but it would be hard to imagine anything scarier on Earth than being suddenly stuck in close quarters with an adrenaline jacked young soldier fighting for his life with this tool in his hand.
